Made with 67 layers of folded steel, Takumi knives don’t only look beautiful, they are built to last. The traditional method of steel folding, which finds its origins in Japanese sword making, burns away impurities in the metal. This leaves behind a pure, durable, and flexible blade. The handle of each Takumi knife also features a mosaic inlay – the mark of the craftsman.
